Just an update on The Chelsea, the all-girl supergroup featuring Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole; Smashing Pumpkins), Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle) and Samantha Maloney (Hole; Motley Crue):

The band's previously announced show in Los Angeles on 6th February will take place at Spaceland. Former Need guitarist Radio Sloan will also be appearing in the band.

Speaking to Rolling Stone recently, Melissa said, "Me and Paz will be doing a lot of singing in the band, but both Radio and Sam sing too. The joy of it is me and Paz will be switching back and forth between bass, guitar and baritone guitar. There's a lot of potential there, and they're amazing girls and so talented."

The busy Auf der Maur has recorded a version of the Poison ballad "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" for the soundtrack to the forthcoming comedy movie Run Ronnie Run!, as well as a cover of Should I Say Or Should I Go for Oliver Stone’s next movie Beyond Borders. She has also covered the Billy Idol track "Eyes Without A Face" for an unnamed teen thriller.
